People Manager Train Crew
You are a coaching People Manager with a controlling responsibility. You oversee the quality, consistency, and performance of the onboard teams. You are hierarchically above the Train Managers, who report directly to you, and you act as the link between day-to-day operations on the train and management.​

You will ensure that all crew members work in a consistent, professional, and hospitality-driven manner, in line with established processes and service agreements. You are visible in the field, coach on the job, and make adjustments where necessary.

What You’ll Do

Coaching and supporting Train Managers and onboard crews

Acting as a coaching people manager with a focus on both development and performance
​

Monitoring and improving service quality and execution
​

Monitoring and following up on SLA'S
​

Implementing and optimizing onboard processes
​

Conducting control, observation, and feedback rounds on the train
and along the route
​

Providing constructive feedback, both individually
and to teams
​

Ensuring a uniform way of working across all trains and teams
​

Reporting on performance, key focus areas, and improvement actions
​

Participating in the onboarding of new crew members and Train Managers and providing input for training and development programs


Who you are

A natural people manager with a strong ability to lead and inspire.

You have a strong hospitality mindset and pay attention to quality down to the smallest details

You are a coaching people manager who motivates, guides, and helps teams grow
​

You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English; knowledge of German is a strong asset
​

You combine people-oriented leadership with clear follow-up and control
​

You communicate clearly and provide feedback with ease
​

You work in a structured and process-oriented manner
​

You are highly flexible and willing to travel frequently by train
​

You are comfortable in a role with responsibility and autonomy

Experience in hospitality, operations, crew management, or coaching is a strong asset
